Parade Of Lights 12/5/2014

Begin your holiday season at the spectacular 40th Annual Parade of Lights. The two-mile parade route in Downtown Denver is the stage for Colorado’s brightest holiday tradition. The FREE holiday spectacular features marching bands, ornate floats, and, of course, a special appearance by Major Waddles the Penguin and Santa! Grab your hot chocolate and ear-muffs, this year is going to be better than ever!

When: This Friday at 8:00pm

Where: Let’s all watch from the corner of 17th and California.

What to wear: Lots of warm clothes!! The temperature is still suppose to be in the 30s, but it can get a little cold standing.

EVERYONE IS INVITED!!!

The Parade of Lights routes for two miles through the streets of Downtown Denver. It starts off from the Denver City & County Building at 14th & Bannock Street, crosses Colfax Avenue, travels west on 14th Street, turns right on Tremont Place and goes three blocks to 17th Street. The parade travels down 17th Street on Arapahoe Street and turns left, making another left turn on 15th Street and continuing on 15th Street up to Glenarm Place. The parade turns right on Glenarm Place and finishes at 14th Street & Glenarm Place.
